NOTE: I started B3E last week and made it three days before I blew it at a working lunch at Chuy’s. It happens, but when it does, just start over and keep moving forward.
Day 1 has not gone bad especially since I switched from eating a high-carb diet over the past three weeks straight into B3E. Overall my energy is up. I have not been hungry. I ate the following today; approximately 7 eggs, 8 pieces of Bacon, and a 14 oz Ribeye with the fat. I had thought about fasting for the day, but after my first cup of coffee decided against it. Instead, I ate between 10 and 2.
I hope to get back into ketosis by the end of the week. Maybe then I will be able to fast again for 48 to 72 hours. I would add that I cooked the steak in a new Ninja Foodi XL Grille. It was overcooked. I will need to work on that.
I weighed in at 332 lbs. Let’s see how much I can lose on Beef, Butter, Bacon, and Eggs (B3E). I started the keto journey in 2017. I have had a lot of ups and downs, but seeing how I weighed 460 lbs when I started, I feel like it has been somewhat successful. I am hoping to break that 315 mark on B3E. I have yet to get there. Once I hit that then my next goal is to get under 300 lbs.
